Commands

Slash commands, @ mentions, and attaching files in Chat.

Start a message with / to run a command instead of sending it to the agent. Start typing to filter the list of commands.

/compact focus on the API surface
CommandDoes
/new, /clearStart a new session
/rename <title>Rename the session
/compact [focus]Summarize earlier messages to free up context, optionally with a focus
/rewindGo back to an earlier message, discarding everything after it
/searchSearch the conversation
/agent <name>Switch agent
/model [model]Switch model
/thinking [level]Set reasoning effort
/auto [max steps]Let the agent run without stopping for approval
/interactiveGo back to stopping for approval
/background <task>, /bgRun a task in a new autonomous session
/reloadReload the sandbox’s capabilities

Commands that act on a conversation only work once one is open. /background needs a running sandbox.

Skills from the sandbox’s installed capabilities work as commands too. A skill named recon runs as /recon. If a skill has the same name as a built-in command, the built-in wins.

Type @ to insert an agent’s name into your message. This doesn’t switch agents; the current agent just sees the name as text. To switch, choose a different agent or run /agent.

Select the paperclip to attach files or a whole folder, or drop them onto the message box, or paste an image. When you send, the files upload into the sandbox under uploads/, and your message tells the agent where they are, so it can open them with its own tools.

A file can be up to 25 MB, and one message can carry up to 500 files and 200 MB in total. Hidden files, such as .DS_Store and .git, are left out of folders.

Attached files live in the sandbox, not on the platform. Resetting or rebuilding the sandbox deletes them.
